Topic The topic this term is WWII. The classes will be using Reciprocal Reading skills to enjoy the book 'Carrie's War' by Nina Bawden. An exciting theatre trip has also been planned to see a production of Carrie's War in Glasgow in November. As part of the WWII topic, P7's RME will be looking at Judaism and Jewish Holocaust.
In Music, the P7s are also going to script, act and film their own music video based on classic WWII songs.
So far we have looked at the events leading up to the start of WWII, Hitler's background, 1939 and 1940. We have been particularly enjoying researching evacuation and have made our very own gas masks and boxes as well as ID cards and name tags!
PE Both classes will have PE on Fridays, Room 19 will have an extra PE session on Wednesdays and Room 20 on Mondays.
Assembly As ambassadors for the rest of the school, all P7s are expected to wear full uniform, shirt and tie for Friday assemblies.
We are going to have a great year in Primary 7 and we are all very much looking forward to all of the exciting things that we will be taking part in. We hope to do our very best and end the year ready for our move to secondary school!

I am enjoying P7 so far and I am happy that I am a vice captain.

I am excited about P7!!
Hi p7 its Olivia Kennedy on Saturday me and Harleen found 2 baby hedgehogs and they are now in my house and we r looking after them.We r also going to bring them into school so that u can have a look. But because they r only 300 grams they have to go to a special hedgehog rescue centre.
They must be tiny if they are just babies Olivia... did you call the animal rescue people to come help you? I take it they were not with their mother anymore? It's always important to preserve animals' natural habitats. :)
